Hello and welcome!
I am Candy F. Cole, Realtor, and, business partner with my husband, Edward "Ted" Cole, Realtor, at Homerun Realty, LLC., one of the largest independent and award-winning real estate brokerages serving Ocala and Marion County, Florida. It is also a family-owned brokerage, providing full-service, buyer and seller services for residential, commercial and vacant land, including rental management services and new construction.
As real estate agents, we have the opportunity to serve others, which is both a priviledge and a joy, as well as, our spiritual gift. Many home buyers or sellers have never bought or sold a home or property before. There are a lot of "moving parts" to it like negotiations, contracts, addendums, readying the home or property, photographers, listings, marketing, and all the timing involved to reach and complete closing. We strive to assist you in answering numerous questions like, "What are the true costs?" "What can I really afford?" "How do I find someone to talk to me about loans? "What are the benefits of owning verses renting?" and more. We work together as your team throughout the whole real estate process, keeping you fully informed at all times.
Ted and I have seven children. Whew! Yes, I know! We walked them through financing activities, savings, real estate questions, etc. and, today, all seven are homeowners, are paying their bills on time, and have made this a success!
Personally, my background is strong in business. My degree is in Marketing and Business. I worked in both civilian and government positions. In government, I managed multiple branches of support services for the Department of Defense Morale, Welfare and Recreation, including Europe where I was the Marketing Director. In Corporate, I worked with Fortune 500 Advertising and Publishing Corporation as Management for Sales and Marketing. I have also been a business owner. My most recent was previous owner of our own Ocala HoneyBaked Ham Company. In just under four years of ownership, our business increased 62%!. That was a great time to sell and go to our next adventure!
